CASTROL BRAYCO MICRONIC SV/4 (Previously SV/3)

Castrol Brayco Micronic SV/4 is a synthetic hydrocarbon control fluid, rated for use at 200C and specially formulated for use in closed subsea and surface production control systems.

The product is fully compliant with OSPAR 2007 environmental regulations and has no substitutable components.

This product was previously named Castrol Brayco Micronic SV/3.

Castrol Brayco Micronic SV/4 is fully compatible and miscible with existing products in the Castrol Brayco Micronic range. It retains the core performance characteristics of the outgoing products, most notably the ability to absorb and emulsify seawater contamination to prevent system corrosion, exhibiting excellent compatibility with a wide range of system materials, high temperature thermal stability, and good lubrication for critical moving parts such as Directional Control Valves. Castrol Brayco Micronic SV/4 was tested in accordance with industry standards such as API 17F and has been tested and approved by key subsea equipment manufacturers. Castrol Brayco Micronic SV/4 has been formulated to remove the most hazardous components, based on their human health classification.

Castrol Brayco Micronic LV/4 is fully compatible and miscible with existing products in the Castrol Brayco Micronic range.
